Food was good and what we expected. The service we got from Brooklynne was superb. She was very friendly, was able to answer all of our substitution questions without seeming inconvenienced. She seemed to care that we actually had a good dining experience. Thanks Brooklynne we will be asking for your section every time. 😊
The first time I came here it was amazing and the coleslaw was the best I've ever had, but today I was pretty disappointed. The BBQ was still amazing but the coleslaw wasn't nearly as good and after eating a couple bites I got a mouthful of plastic bag. 🤢🤮. Very disappointing because I ordered 2 coleslaws and ended up throwing them both away. I drive a semi and I had already left before I ate anything so I couldn't take it back 😢 This won't stop me from coming back in the future but I doubt I'll ever get the coleslaw again. I'm adding pictures of the plastic with this review.
4 of us stopped on our way through town. Burger, smokehouse Mac and cheese, brisket nachos, and the ribs were all really loved. The brisket was ok but not noteworthy. Fast service and plenty of seating.
Textbook midwest BBQ. Lunch specials, many sides, fine tuned BBQ sauces. Loved it.
Stopped in for dinner while traveling. The service was awesome and I tried the brisket french dip. It was different than a regular dip. It was delicious. Our server Josie was very attentive and offered us to go drinks. If I lived here this would be a regular choice for us .
My husband and I had THE BEST barbecue sandwiches here. Our server, Asia, was so friendly, attentive and good at her job (hope you’re tending the bar now, Asia!) The owner checked on us and also gave us a sample of their ribs (to die for tender and delicious!!). If we are ever back in Junction City, we will definitely stop here again!!!
A very simple place, but good food and reasonable prices. The servings were huge and the service was nice. Again nothing super fancy but definitely get a tasty meal here! The chicken tenders were our favorite of all the things we got!
Wonderful meal at a very outgoing place! Everything cooked to order and brought out in a timely fashion. All the wait staff and our waitress was very friendly. They even let us enter through the exit door. Very upbeat group of people! I would gladly come here again and I travel from Salina to Junction City to try this place. I will edit my review so I can give my server a recommendation. She needed a pay raise. Great personality!
My daughter and I came in yesterday 4/8/26. We order the wagyu brisket burger and a French dip. The food was absolutely amazing!!!! I have lived in JC over 40 years and the food here yesterday was the best food we have had in a JC area food restaurant in a very very long time! Thank you for making the food so good and we will definitely be back. Kudos to the cooks yesterday!!
Not sure how it could have been better... Josie, our server, was amazing! Timely, attentive, engaging and cordial.... she is the model for which that position should follow. The food was great.... dill cream cheese poppers were a delight.... I only took a picture of 4 of them and forgot my meal (again)... but I ordered the Texas Tater. Most BBQ places have a version of this and it was par for the course, holding its own.... big potato but not too much, satisfying but I wasnt miserable. They should be a little ashamed of the glasses they serve the mocktails in.... but they too were delish!!!
